The Hull and Goole College Student Support Services team are based within the Queen’s Gardens site (Hull) but they also provide a service at Goole College. The College is committed to ensuring that all students receive the very highest level of support, from initial enquiry and application, though to successful completion and progression to further study, training or employment – we are here to support you.

We can provide you with information and advice on further education, higher education and work based training opportunities.
Students can visit the Goole Connexions service at Boothferry Road which offers specialist careers advice, including help and guidance with education and career pathways. Information about the financial support that may be available to you is available on this web site, whether you are leaving school, applying to higher education or an adult returning to college. We will provide you upon request with information and advice on the extensive range of financial support that may be available to you, this includes our Young People’s Bursary, Adult Learning Grants and, for higher education students, Student Loans and Bursaries.
If you are a further education student you may be entitled to financial support to help meet the costs of travel to and from college, our team of specialist advisers can provide you with detailed information.
Information on tuition and examination fees is available upon request. We can also provide details of concessions that may be available if you are in receipt of a qualifying state benefit.
Goole College facilities includes an Ofsted inspected child care centre and, dependent upon your personal circumstances, financial support may be available to help meet the costs of child care.
The Student Support Services team is able to provide you with information and advice on a range of accommodation that is available to students living away from home.
Every student at the College has a dedicated Personal Tutor. They are available to support you with your work and to work with you to ensure that you are on target to successfully complete your course.
A team of specialist Learning Mentors is available to support you and to ensure that you settle into the college community as quickly as possible.
