Description
This 2 year course is a recognised entry qualification for higher education art or design studies at Hull College or University. The programme enables students to extend their knowledge and experience a broad range of art and design specialisms and is diagnostic in its approach. Assignments will allow students to work experimentally in areas which may include 3D Design, Fine Art, Graphics, Fashion, Textiles and Illustration. Core elements in drawing and art and design history run throughout the programme. Supporting studies include printmaking and computer aided design. In the second year a personal choice of an art, design or craft specialism is made where in-depth study is encouraged in order to build up a portfolio of workthat facilitates entry to University or to study one of our own degrees. Essential study visits to galleries and other places of interest are built into the course.
