Find out the total raised at Goole’s Christmas Fayre…
Goole College opened its doors on Wednesday 7th December for a Christmas Fayre.
The Fayre was held from 2pm to 6pm and with free admission!
With various craft stalls, raffles and refreshments, the fayre kickstarted Christmas shopping and got everyone in the festive mood. There was also a course information stand at the event for anyone who wanted to enquire about how they can enrol on a programme.
This year’s Fayre raised funds for two charities; the Teenage Cancer Trust and St Andrews Children Hospice.
The office staff at Goole College helped to organise the event was as successful as last year’s event,
“After the success of last year’s event, we couldn’t wait to get started this year. There is such a great community spirit in Goole and they have really embraced the Fayre as they have done in previous years. Teenage Cancer Trust and St Andrews Children Hospice are two wonderful charities. Last year we raised £322 and we have beaten that this year, raising £576.37!”
