NEBOSH Comes to Goole College

Following the success of the NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety at Harrogate College, the Hull College Group has decided to offer the NEBOSH course from Goole College.

The NEBOSH qualification is designed for managers, supervisors and staff with health and safety among their day to day responsibilities. No previous knowledge of health and safety is required, but by the end of the course the certificate will help delegates manage risks effectively.

Harrogate College learners consistently achieve high marks, including two learners receiving a distinction and another two achieving credit in the last set of exam results.

This is a globally recognised award, taken by people working in a wide range of industries. Nearly 30,000 people take a NEBOSH qualification every year. The NEBOSH General Certificate gives a good foundation in health and safety for staff that need a broad understanding of health and safety issues.

Many people take the NEBOSH National General Certificate as a first step in a career in health and safety. It provides a valuable overview, and is a sound basis for further professional study.
